Croatia's most popular island, Krk is big enough that you won't be short of places to see. A landmark bridge crosses from the mainland, not far from the city of Rijeka, to reach the ‘Golden Isle'. Among Krk's highlights are the old town which shares its name, home to a castle and cathedral, and Baška itself – this town's lengthy beach is perhaps the most popular on the island.
Baška has many excellent restaurants and cafés within a short walk of your villa, so be sure to try dishes which make the most of Krk's seafood and locally grown produce.
