Maison Mourillon in French Riviera (Cote D'Azur), France sleeps 8 people. Live like a local in this charming village house with a gorgeous terrace and small pool in the Mourillon neighbourhood of Toulon. Imagine strolling out for a morning swim at the nearby beach before returning home with fresh croissants and bread for everyone.

Maison Mourillon is a small yet authentic family home where the owners and their three children once lived. It therefore allows you to embrace the French way of life, away from the main tourist crowds elsewhere on the French Riviera, whilst being close to many gems of this part of southern France.

There's a contemporary vibe across the living-dining space and open-plan kitchen whilst stylish furnishings and décor add character to this modern home. The maison sleeps up to 8 guests across its four bedrooms (two doubles, a children's room with bunk-beds and a bedroom with a cot), there is an office where 2 guests can also sleep and there are two bathrooms, each one with a bath or shower.

The garden patio is a delightful spot for a morning coffee or evening aperitif as well as convivial al-fresco meals by the plancha-style barbecue. Within a separate inner courtyard, there's also a small pool, just perfect for cooling off on warm summer days.
In one direction you can wander down to Plage du Mourillon, a sandy beach backed by summer restaurants, or walk the other way to the shops, restaurants and weekly market in the Mourillon neighbourhood.

The heart of Toulon is merely 2km away, passing the bustling port en route. Explore the city's old quarter and street market on Cours Lafayette, pick up all sorts of delicious gourmet produce at Les Halles, learn about Toulon's rich maritime heritage and take the cable car up Mont Faron for incredible views.

Hop on a ferry to the idyllic Île de Porquerolles for a wonderful day out or drive to nearby villages to soak up the seaside ambience in places such as La Seyne-sur-Mer, Sanary-sur-Mer and Bandol. Enjoy a range of adventurous water sports around Six-Fours-Les Plages or potter around the evening summer markets by the beach at Les Sablettes.

Not to mention incredible hiking and biking paths through the Janas Forest, coastal walking trails along Le Sentier du Littoral and the famous vineyards in the hills of Bandol.
