Maison Des Amoureux in Provence-Alpes, France sleeps 4 people. Maison Des Amoureux is a lovely little haven where you will truly relax in the rich Luberon countryside. It offers two delightful bedrooms and gorgeous open plan living with a touch of contemporary flair as well as a little rustic charm. This little gem is located between two charming villages, Lacoste and Menerbes.

Maison Des Amoureux is built on one level with open plan living space. At the heart of the house is a very striking, chef's dream of a kitchen. All in stainless steel, it is inspiring and the perfect place to create some culinary wonders. There is a separate laundry area in the garage with a washing machine and dryer. This wonderful house has undergone a fantastic, high-quality renovation. As well as little ancient reminders, this house enjoys contemporary flair and some modern furnishings. The living area is bright, airy and spacious. It boasts a feature fireplace at one end together with a comfy modern sofa, bean bags and a television. The dining table sits in between the living area and kitchen. French doors open to the south facing terrace where you can enjoy alfresco dining.

Guests sleep in two bedrooms. The master offers a comfy kingsize bed, minimalist styling, a dressing area and an en suite bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower. Again, it feels modern, bright and airy. The second bedroom can be set up as a twin room or with a super kingsize bed. With calm, neutral tones it is also beautifully presented. Guests staying in this room use the family bathroom with its shower.

The gardens of Maison Des Amoureux are beautiful. There are some wonderful shady spots for alfresco dining or relaxing with your holiday book, an excellent swimming pool, gorgeous lawns, colourful planting and a boules court for some friendly competition. The swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace sprinkled with loungers and seating plus there is a handy outdoor shower. The mature garden is blessed with lavender, rosemary, oleander, box, pines, olive trees and plenty of colour. There is one off-street parking space with lots of free parking on the street if you have more than one car. Maison Des Amoureux is a great pick from where you will return feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Just over a mile from the house is Lacoste, a picturesque village in the Petit Luberon region of Provence between the villages of Menerbes and Bonnieux. Lacoste is best known for the castle of the Marquis de Sade, now belonging to Pierre Cardin, which dominates the village. This beautifully preserved village enjoys amazing views over the Luberon valley and enjoys a few gastronomic restaurants and the Café de France with its grandstand view of the hilltop perched Bonnieux. Just five minutes from the house, Menerbes is also very pretty, surrounded by vineyards and also offering spectacular panorama. It is blessed with excellent restaurants, a few shops and a market on Thursday mornings. Art exhibitions and a classical music festival give this quaint village a soothing buzz during the hot summer months. Maison Des Amoureux is an excellent base to explore Provence, its views, its wineries and its fantastic dining scene.
