The Treasury in Blickling, Norfolk sleeps 2 people. Aptly named from its origins of the building where the money was stored and where Lord Walpole and his butler stored cash and the accounts, The Treasury forms the south side of the entrance lodges and was designed by Thomas Ripley. Today it is a romantic retreat complete with period furnishings and tasteful Persian carpets, tapestries and artwork, and selected by the Times newspaper for one of the top 50 best holiday homes in the UK.

Offering a truly unique experience with the option of concierge services, beauty treatments on-site and an award-winning chef available to cook for a special occasion, you are sure to feel refreshed and pampered during your stay. Set on a grand private estate with 150 acres of parkland and a lake, you can enjoy many lovely walks within the grounds with its abundance of natural flora and fauna. Wolterton Park offer canoeing on the lake, horse riding, archery and clay pigeon shooting all on-site; and tennis; golf and a rural Georgian pub are also nearby. Wolterton Park hold regular classical music evenings as well as art courses throughout the year that you will be able to enjoy whilst onsite.

Situated just six miles from the North Norfolk coast and close to the historic and thriving market town of Aylsham which hosts two weekly markets and many community events throughout the year. The popular towns of Holt, Cromer and Norwich are also nearby with plenty of restaurants, theatres and attractions to visit and explore. This is an exceptional property with a difference.

Also available to book at this location is Stewards House (sleeps six guests), Garden House (sleeps six guests) and The East Wing (sleeps 14 guests).Additional Information:
Up to two-well behaved dogs welcome (additional charge).
Vispring luxury pocket sprung beds in all bedrooms.
There is a step up to the kitchen and another small step up to the bedroom and bathroom.
As this is a large country estate, there are some uneven grounds.
Travel cot and highchair available on request (please provide your own cot linen).
The Estate allows dogs at all properties for an additional cost of £50 each and offer a good quality foldaway bed for older children which can be hired at £75 per stay with linen and bath towels.
For an additional cost a number of concierge services are available to book in advance including: Bicycles available on request. Concierge service for booking events, transport, restaurants and more. Beauty treatments on site, must be booked in advance. (additional charge). Book a local award winning chef to cook for you (additional charge). These services must be booked direct through your host.
