"Slate House Lodges" are lovely little collection of holiday lodges in Mid-Wales. Located near a small hamlet called Little London, which is near Llandinam, Slate House Lodges have a rural location, and each lodge has its own private hot tub.
You have a choice of two types of lodge at Slate House Lodges, the "Ivy Tree Lodge" and the "Valley View Lodge"; both these lodges sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms - 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom.
The lodges all have central heating and are double glazed, so if you're after a winters' holiday with a hot tub and a wood burning stove, these lodges could be for you!
Each lodge has a TV, DVD player, and Wi-Fi. A bath/shower room. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and a dish washer. And, as I alluded to, you have a wood burning stove in the lounge - this is a great addition to the lodge, when you remove yourself from that outdoor hot tub, you can snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove.
Outside the lodges have a decked area, and that's where you'll find your private hot tub - you can soak in the water while taking in the surrounding views.
Holidays at Slate House Lodges start on a Friday, or a Monday - with short breaks also available.
You may not want to venture too far from your hot tub, but should you fancy seeing some of the area around Slate House Lodges you can take some walks over the fields and hills; or visit towns such as Caersws, Newtown, Llanidloes, Llanbyther, Montgomery, Llanbrynmair, Rhayader or Welshpool - all of which are within a 20 mile radius of Slate House Lodges.
Powys Castle is nearby, with Caersws being 2 miles from Slate House Lodges and the place to go pubs, a cafe and shops. There are also fishing, golf, clay pigeon shooting and off-roading opportunities during your holiday at Slate House Lodges.
