The Kestrel Lodges at Eirianfa Country Park sleeps 8 people in 3 bedrooms - with all three bedrooms being doubles (you can request a twin bedroom instead of one of the doubles, so you wish). There is also a sofa-bed in the living room. You have an open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen. There is a wood burning stove too.

Bi-folding doors lead out onto the veranda, where you'll find a barbeque, outdoor furniture, and that all-important hot tub. The lodges come with all your bedlinen and towels included; there is a TV and DVD player; Wi-Fi is included; the kitchen includes at microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Some of the lodges are pet friendly, so should you have a dog as part of the family you can all holiday together ate enjoy walks along the banks of the River Dee.

Eirianfa Country Park is the place for some peace & quiet, but should you want to leave your hot tub for a few hours and explore the area you'll find Llangollen is less than a mile down the road. Llangollen has a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants - and there is the Llangollen Steam Railway, should you fancy a go on that!

Oswestry, on the Welsh/Shropshire border, is 14 miles from Eirianfa Country Park; or head west into the Snowdonia National Park for some outdoor activities - white water rafting, kayaking, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking, walking, swimming, and climbing are all available, so if outdoor adventure is for you, there's bound to be something to try.

If you really want to try something different, it is worth looking at "Zip World" in Bethesda, around 40 miles from Eirianfa Country Park. Zip World has the longest zip-line in Europe (and the fastest zip line in the world!).
