Twelve Oaks Holiday Cottages - Twelve Oaks Farmhouse, Devon
(sleeps 10)
Should you decide to holiday with friends or family in a large cottage, one of the advantages
you'll get is the cost of your holiday will come down. I'm not saying large holiday cottages are
cheaper than small ones - that would nice, but too
good to be true. What I am saying is the cost per
person will reduce. So, say, there were 4 of you, and you booked a holiday cottage which
sleeps 4 people, you might pay around £300. But go for something bigger, such as a cottage
with the facilities which sleeps 8, and may pay £500 - or £250 for a family of 4. If
you go on holiday with lots of people, you may even think about a cottage which sleeps 16 people. These properties may
seem expensive, but remember to divide the price by all the people who are going on holiday - you may well be pleasantly surprised
by the cost per person.

Got young children - holiday with family or friends for a ready made baby sitter
For those with young children, going on holiday can mean not getting any time to yourself. But
holiday in a large cottage with friends and family and you've got ready made baby sitters - you might want to
mention this to them first though!
Enjoy the company
A holiday can seem so much more enjoyable when shared with friends - so why not
book a large holiday cottage and spend some quality time away. For those with
family further away, a holiday together in "neutral" ground can also be a
bonus. Just rent a large holiday cottage between all the family members who you want to holiday with -
you'll all have a great time.
Book early
One final thing to mention about large holiday cottages. There aren't too many
around; most
holiday cottages sleeps 4 - 6 people, so if you know the area you want to holiday in, don't hang
around, get your cottage booked now.
Just choose the county on the map above, and we'll show you cottages available in that area. The cottages are
sorted by the number of people the cottage will sleep.
