Upon arrival, you'll be happy to find an idyllic beck trickling past the property, before wandering inside to be welcomed by a tastefully furnished open-plan living space.
The budding chef will be pleased with what the well-equipped kitchen has to offer, with its cream cabinets offering a range of appliances, including a handy electric/gas cooker!.
Once a delicious meal has been rustled up here, bring it over to the dining area where you can tuck into the meal as you look out to the beck; alternatively, you can bring the meal to the decking, where you can enjoy the sounds of the beck flowing past, too!.
Later on, settle down in the sitting area, where a corner sofa and armchair offer you a seat in front of the toasty gas fire and TV.
After unwinding for a while, retreat to one of the two lovely bedrooms for a well-earned rest, the first being a double enjoying a TV and an en-suite shower room, and the other being a twin room with a wall mounted TV, enjoying overhead storage.
A bathroom is also close by, where you can enjoy a relaxing soak before heading out to explore the holiday park.
There are plenty of nearby facilities to keep you entertained during your break, from a multi-sports court, indoor swimming pool and a sauna/steam room, to an adventure playground, kids' clubs and an entertainment venue; there's something for everyone here!.
You're also well-catered to at the park, as a launderette, convenience store and bar/restaurant are on the site, Leisure passes are charged per adult and per child depending on date, information requests can be made at park.
Travel a short distance into Windermere, where the gorgeous lake of the same name awaits, as well as access to the wonders of the Treetop Trek,
Wray Castle and Brockhole Pier's lake cruises.
Continue down to Bowness-on-Windermere, where ferry cruises can take you to the delights of Hill Top, once Beatrix Potter's home, as well as the Claife Viewing Station; the town itself hosts a range of eateries to try out, as well as the wonderful World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.
The fantastic town of
Ambleside, as well as the lovely locations of Rydal, Grasmere and Lakeside are all close by and offer even more outdoor activities amidst the dramatic landscape.
