There are great walks straight from the doorstep including the close by shores of Coniston Water and a host of local inns and local eateries, including the famous Drunken Duck Inn.
This area is popular amongst cyclists and mountain bikers due to its access to Grizedale Forest, just a few hundred yards from the cottage. Attractive old oak beams and flagged floors blend seamlessly with lavish furnishings and the welcoming wood burner, as well as an open fire, create a great ambiance for social gatherings or special occasions.
Suitable for two couples or a family, The Farmhouse offers plenty of space including two chic bedrooms that also enjoy the stunning scenery, plus there's a luxury bathroom, perfect for a long soak after a day in the hills.
