It faces South-West with a terrific view, and is on the edge of the Grampian mountains.
The Cairngorms National Park starts a mile further up the glen, and Beinn a' Ghlo (a ‘Munro' of over 3000 ft.) can be seen from the Crannach.
All the power to the property comes from a hydro electric scheme nearby.
