Despite the proximity to a beach, it will be essential that you visit the Jurassic coast, most notably Lyme Regis Fossil Bay, where you can search amongst the rocks for fossils just waiting to be discovered.

Enjoy a family day out at the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum or Lyme Regis Aquarium, or venture further afield to visit one of the many historical sites within the area, including Axminster Heritage Centre, Blackbury Camp, and Maiden Castle.
