The Old Workshop in Bidford On Avon; a fantastic brand new (2022) and exciting split level spacious holiday accommodation in the heart of the bustling village of Bidford-on-Avon. The former workshop was once used for the main house but now has been beautifully converted into a luxury and unique accommodation with excellent attention to detail. Enter through the large oak doors into a generous entrance hall with a set of stairs leading down to the large comfortable bedroom which boasts doors to the walled courtyard garden providing a private outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink. You also have a set of stairs leading to the fabulous open plan kitchen and living area on the first floor with high ceilings and large windows over looking the courtyard garden and iconic bridge dating back to the 15th century in the village centre. You’ll find yourself in the centre of this Warwickshire village from the front door with plenty of local amenities including cafes, local shops and bustling pubs and bars with live bands and events going on throughout the summer.
You can find some tranquillity with plenty of beautiful walks along the river and through meadows or simply enjoying a picnic watching the boats travel down the river Avon. Set in the heart of Shakespeare country and within 10 minutes drive to the famous playwrights birthplace in Stratford Upon Avon where you can find an abundance of shops, pubs, restaurants and historic houses and you can even enjoy a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre. A short drive will take you into the beautiful Cotswolds, where you can take in the picturesque towns and villages and enjoy a traditional cream tea. The Vale of Evesham is close by and grows a variety of produce in the area, so be sure to stop at one of the many farm shops.
