The Fox Den in Callander is located on a relaxing working family farm in the heart of Stirlingshire, The Fox Den is surrounded by 30 acres of native Scottish woodland. Full of enchanting walkways and only 1/2km from the River Forth, this is the ideal place to come and relax unwind and enjoy rural Stirlingshire. Using recycled shipping containers that used to store our sheep feed during the winters the owners have cleverly renovated them creating a beautiful country retreat. With panoramic views of The Trossachs from the fantastic roof terrace, this is a great place to find peace and quiet.
This unique experience has been created by joining two recycled shipping containers to create one spacious, comfortable and unique living space. The space includes a large living area, double bed, double sofa bed, large shower room, fully equipped kitchen, fantastic rooftop terrace and firepit/barbeque area. Guests enjoy a designated fenced off area with an abundance of space.
Explore the riverside walks and woodland on your doorstep. Please bear in mind this is a working farm so care and respect are expected towards the farm sheds, animals and machinery. The Fox Den is situated on a family farm in the lovely village of Kippen, Stirlingshire. Here you will find all the local amenities such as a selection of pubs and coffee shops, all within walking and driving distance. The centre of historic Stirling and The Battle of Bannockburn can be reached within a twenty-minute car drive. Head in the opposite direction and you will find yourself at the gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Visit the gorgeous town of Aberfoyle and the stunning landscapes in the area. Ideal for those who love outdoor activities, walking and cycling. Glasgow and Edinburgh can be reached within an hour’s drive.
