One of a collection of converted farm buildings, now all stunning holiday homes, this haven offers a single-level abode immersed in the tranquillity of 3 acres of private countryside.
As you step into the open plan living space, designed to capture the beauty of the surroundings, you’ll find a kitchen adorned with handcrafted elegance. It boasts a stylish dining seating area that doubles as a breakfast bar. The heart of relaxation is embodied in a superb red leather corner sofa, each end reclining for that extra touch of comfort. A TV graces the wall, inviting you to unwind in comfort. Venture into the bedroom where a king-size bed awaits on an exquisite bespoke base, ensuring a peaceful rest after a day of exploration. The room also features a single bed, making it ideal for small families. Thoughtful touches like touch-sense bedside lamps and USB ports enhance the overall experience. The en-suite bathroom offers a bath with a shower facility, complemented by a wall-mounted touch-sense lighted mirror.
Step outside, and you’ll discover a generous paddock with picnic-style seating, perfect for al fresco dining amid the magical surroundings. Descend a few small stone steps to the beautiful riverbank area, where the River
Fowey gracefully flows. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the waters with a local permit.
While the serene ambiance prevails, the convenience of the main A38 road allows easy access to the enchanting harbour town of
Looe, the quaint village of Polpero, and the fascinating town of
Bodmin. Bodmin’s steam railway, mysterious and famous moor with stone structures and tors, the chilling
Bodmin Jail experience, and nearby attractions like Carnglaze Caverns and Cardinham Woods promise a diverse range of activities. In this haven of choice, you are poised for a delightful and enchanting holiday experience. Fowey hosts a sailing regatta each year and has a host of fantastic restaurants and boutique shops within it’s narrow streets. No recharging of electric vehicles permitted on site, there are facilities nearby in Bodmin. There is a beach 12½ miles from The Bothy.
A beautiful cottage crafted by the owners from former farm buildings. Immaculately presented with wonderful views. Relaxation is the key element here and an ideal location for walking and exploring this amazing part of Cornwall.. All on the ground floor.
