With superb views from an elevated setting including the world famous Nicklaus course at nearby St Mellion resort, you are struck by a sense of peace and quiet the moment you arrive. Such a popular choice for golf enthusiasts and families alike, your holiday retreat has been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard, offering a blend of comfort and style throughout. With ample parking, there are a handful of steps which lead you up to the lodge. With a clever upside-down design, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a sumptuous king-size bed with en-suite with light wooden fixtures, a subtle reminder of the nature of your Scandinavian style haven. Bedroom two has twin beds with the clever flexibility of becoming super king-size upon request, along with a further en-suite with large walk-in shower. Venture upstairs and you are greeted by an open plan living space, bathed in natural light, with impressive, vaulted ceilings, all adding to the overall flowing feeling of space. The kitchen is fully equipped, so light breakfast or hearty meal can be prepared and enjoyed. There are two sofas you just melt into, 42 inch HDTV and for those chilly evenings a lovely open fire to keep you cosy! The kitchen door leads you to a secluded decking area complete with furniture and surrounded by a thousand shades of green. A door from the living area leads onto a balcony, offering commanding views towards St Mellion, a bit of a show-stopper!
The owners’ would like you to enjoy not only this luxury lodge but also all the on-site facilities at St Mellion Resort located just a 5 minute drive away to include leisure and spa, fully equipped gym and tennis court just to name a few of the activities, you also get 10% off at at St Mellion bars. Then there is the local area, with countless country walks to choose from and the magnificent Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where the train journey from nearby Gunnislake to Plymouth is a joy to behold, with incredible scenery at every step. The nearest beaches at Downderry and Seaton offer stretches of sand, coves and inlets whilst rockpools for all ages to explore are a must.
