Safari Tents in Monmouth is in partnership with the Woodland Trust, the owners have planted over 2000 trees on the 11-acre site, restoring the habitat and grasslands to create a natural conservation area for animals and guests alike. The tranquil location is filled with flourishing native wildlife, while the owners have carefully integrated three safari tents, intermingled amongst the wilderness.
The on-site accommodation is glamping at its finest, with all the indulgences of a hotel, blended with glorious natural splendour. The sturdy and well-insulated tents include solid interior walls, fully functional kitchens, and bathrooms, plus marshmallow soft beds to make your stay complete. Outside, relax and unwind on the sun loungers with gorgeous views over the surrounding countryside, or snuggle around the Chimnea as the day fades away and enjoy the majestic starscapes of this light-free location. Spot a variety of busy birds and running wildlife from the resident kingfisher and heron, who can often be seen fishing in the pools and streams to the many rabbits and badgers scuffling through the undergrowth. Amble leisurely through the beautiful meadows with a picnic (each tent has its own basket provided) and bask in the blissful serenity of this charming glamping retreat.
if you wish to venture out for a lunch or evening meal, the site is within easy reach of Abergavenny, a lovely market town with a variety of independent shops and great places to eat. The site is also well-positioned to visit some of the most beautiful natural locations in the whole of the UK. The magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park right on the doorstep while the mystical Wye Valley and Forest of Dean are also close by, offering a multitude of spectacular scenery for hiking and biking, and variety of other outdoor activities.
Cherry Safari (QU7587) can be booked with Willow Tree Safari (ref QU7588 [Willow Tree Safari]) and Hazel Safari (ref QU7589 [Hazel Safari]) to sleep upto 18 people.
