This pleasant space boasts all the appliances you need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. From the kitchen brings you into the bright and airy living room with lovely garden views. Relax in front of the smart TV as the multi fuel stove crackles in the background. From the living room brings you to the formal dining area, the perfect space for a sociable family get together. As the evening draws to a close, choose one of two comfortable bedrooms for some well-earned rest. Externally the property boasts a beautiful walled front garden with various shrubs and trees. There is also garden furniture and a gas barbecue to really take advantage of the hot summer evenings.
Ancroft is a very small rural village just 5 miles from the popular Berwick Upon Tweed. There are four beautiful beaches nearby, offering water sporting opportunities, breath-taking scenery and plenty of family excitement, you’ll truly be spoilt for choice. Enjoy a relaxing game of golf, or enrich yourself with the history of Berwick Castle, involved in many Anglo-Saxon wars, there’s plenty to uncover. Take a scenic stroll along the River Tweed before enjoying a spot of lunch in one of the many eateries on offer. Alternatively, take a trip to nearby Duns to discover its award-winning butcher and delicatessen, alongside being an exciting hub for racing enthusiasts with its Jim Clark Museum and the Jim Clark Rally. Also within easy reach of Bamburgh, a stunningly attractive small village set on the northern stretch of the Northumberland Coast. It is without doubt dominated by its magnificently striking castle that can be seen for miles around, giving the whole village a somewhat dramatic feeling. You can’t fail to be impressed by the sheer scale of the castle once you are up close and in the village itself. There is much to do in the village alongside the castle and its amazing history, there are impressive stretches of pure golden sandy beaches, many English tea rooms and restaurants, and a newly renovated museum dedicated to Grace Darling.
