The living room boasts a wood burner, perfect for cosy nights in on those cooler evenings. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen and large dining table perfect for dining at home. For those wishing to dine out, there are plenty of local eateries and take out restaurants nearby.
This wonderful seaside location, perfect for enjoying the wide sandy beach. Explore the coast with its lovely sandy beaches, and the town and villages along the coast. Excellent walking routes are available from your doorstep, and for those who enjoy cycling there are lots of great routes and trails. The seaside town of Great Yarmouth, 7 miles away, has a 15-mile stretch of glorious sandy beach with a pier. There are lots of activities including a choice of bowling, donkey rides, a fairground for both adults and small children, crazy golf, model village, sports leisure centre with swimming pool and Sea Life Centre.
Thrill seekers are also sure to enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park at Lowestoft. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and take the tiger walk across the treetops. Caister Castle features a classic car museum, or a day at the races gives you the option of both horse and dog racing. The city of Norwich, voted one of the top five cities to visit in the UK, has a Norman castle and numerous museums, galleries, and theatres. Plenty of local activities great for children. BeWILDerwood at Horning, Roar Dinosaur Park at Lenwade, and Banham Zoo are award winning parks. You are also close to the Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can drift along these famous waterways. So much to do and see, you are sure to wish you had stayed much longer.
