Lake View Lodge near Nantwich; within half an hour you can cross the border into Shropshire and visit Whitchurch or less than an hour’s drive will take you to the county town of Shrewsbury or the magnificent city of Chester. For those who like to explore the great outdoors you can pick up the Sandstone Trail in Tarporley, or visit the castles of Beeston and Cholmondeley. For a bit of excitement, Delamere Forest and Wild Shore Delamere are around a 45-minute drive or Alton Towers around an hour. From relaxation to exhilaration you really are spoilt for choice.

Newly constructed in 2022, this wonderful lodge with private hot tub, holds an enviable lakeside setting on the site of Coole Acres Fishery and Leisure Park. Positioned between the ancient market town of Nantwich and pretty canal side village of Audlem, the location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Cheshire countryside.
Guests can fish in the nearby lake where you’ll find carp, tench and perch. There’s also further Specimen Fishing available with the on-site lakes being home to whopping 49lb catfish and 34lb carp. Please note however that booking is essential and charges will apply. Guests also have access to the seasonal facilities of the campsite next door including a small on-site shop and occasional food truck.
The village of Audlem is a mere 5-minute drive and home to a range of shops, cafes and canal side pubs. It’s also famous for its flight of 15 locks which you can walk up and down. In the other direction is Nantwich, which can be reached in around a 10-minute drive. Nantwich has a vibrant town centre full of pubs, restaurants, boutiques and cafes as well as quite uniquely being home to a seasonal outdoor brine swimming pool. It also plays host to the famous Jazz and Blues Weekend at Easter and the International Cheese Awards in July.
Holidays at Lake View Lodge run from Friday to Friday, with short breaks also available.
