Honeysuckle Lodge in Worthing can be found on the owner’s rural family nursery that specialise in growing Italian fruit and vegetables traditionally, without artificial fertilisers or chemicals. Honeysuckle lodge is set in its own private meadowland, surrounded with a hedge and fence. The owners have handcrafted the lodge to create a warm and welcoming environment from the moment you step through the door, filled with light and natural sun.
The open plan kitchen and living area is the heart of the home, a perfect place to entertain and cook all together. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, panini maker, blender to a Dulce Gusto coffee machine (pods provided) and a separate utility room with washing machine, clothes airer and space for your cases and coats. The lounge is the ideal space to relax and unwind in, with comfy sofas to curl up on and a 50-inch smart TV with Netflix.
All three bedrooms have luxurious beds with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, all sourced and made in the U.K. and 40” smart TVs. Both the bathrooms are supplied with natural eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and shower gels, plenty of luxury Egyptian cotton towels. The owners use eco-friendly, natural cleaning products.
The private garden and balcony decking area leading direct from the lounge, has a gas barbecue, table and chairs, window seat and four sun loungers.Honeysuckle Lodge benefits from being situated near the only south-facing bay in the UK, where you can regularly see dolphins. Watch unforgettable sunsets from the comfort of your own private balcony with your favourite drink. A welcome hamper is provided with fresh eggs from the owners rescued chickens, the absolute necessities of tea, coffee pods, sugar, milk, washing up liquid, and some local goodies.
Just a few minutes’ walk you are at the bottom of the South Downs National Park perfect for walks, 14 minutes’ walk to the local village pub, restaurant’s and shops and 9-minute bike ride to the beach. The beauty of this location is that you are away from it all yet are a short distance from Arundel, Worthing, Chichester and Brighton with very close bus and train links. Arundel is a historic market town dominated by the symbolic castle and the rising spire of the cathedral. It offers a plethora of craft and antique shops as well as a wide range of restaurants and tearooms. The castle has been seasonally open to visitors for nearly 200 years. You can climb the 131 steps to take in the views over Arundel and The South Downs.
The lodge has also been designed disabled friendly with large wet room for easy access, spacious bedroom, widened doorways, large spacious kitchen and lounge. Owners are able remove all floor rugs and supply a ramp.
