The tent sits within 2000 acres of the family-owned Garnons Estate, surrounded by fields and large apple orchards rather than other tents. You have the whole space to yourselves, adults can enjoy the seclusion, children can run around freely, build dens and play pooh sticks in the brook. Situated in the middle of the Historic Garnons Estate with private walks that connect with the Wye Valley Path Network, walkers will also relish this idyllic spot for a short break.
Enjoy activities? Archery, canoeing and mountain bikes can be arranged on site with local companies, or if you prefer do bring your own bikes and canoes. If you’ve always wanted to ride, ponies from the Estate farm can be brought down by the groom for riding lessons (fees apply for provided activities). Or simply chill out and enjoy the seclusion and privacy of the Safari tent’s peaceful location... in fact, it’s rather like being on a little island as the camp is in a bow of the brook and accessed via a small bridge! The neighbouring orchards provide fruits for a couple of well-known cider companies, and one red variety ’Katy’, is used exclusively in a cider of the same name. A walk through the orchard takes you to your own picnic and campfire spot on the Wye riverbank, with easy access for canoes.
