The south-facing, double height living space is open-plan and filled with natural light all year round. The living area extends onto a large private patio through two sets of stunning patio doors - perfect for having a glass of fizz on those long summer evenings or cosy winter nights in front of the Smart TV on the comfortable sofas. The Cottage is warmed throughout with underfloor heating and presents a well presented, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar, great for socialising. Both bedrooms are good sized and present plush king size beds fitted with fresh cotton sheets guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. Both are accompanied by an en-suite bathroom and Smart TV’s.
With Grange Garth Cottage located less than 5 miles outside of York you have quick access to one of the most visited cities outside of London which is popular throughout the whole year with numerous festivals and magical Christmas markets. You have many attractions to visit including the iconic Minster, Railway Museum and Clifford’s Tower; admire the beautiful architecture at the Merchant Adventurers Hall, step back in time at the Jorvik Centre and the Castle Museum. Stroll along the cobbles down the world-famous Shambles or take one of the terrifying night-time ghost walks which are a must.
This vibrant city is bursting at the seams with delightful restaurants, traditional inns serving real ales and a wide choice of teashops including the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. It is also a shopper’s paradise with a wealth of independent shops and in addition the Designer Outlet is located just 3 miles from Naburn. Grange Garth Cottage also has plenty of scenic walks right on its doorstep along with a fantastic country pub within a quarter of a mile which serves local ales and great homemade pub grub. There is also a great café at York Marina which is also within walking distance of the property.
