Once part of a working farm, the building has been creatively reimagined with a “second skin” structure that preserves its historic timbers, some still home to old bird nests, while introducing stylish, modern comforts.
The spacious main living room is a standout feature, with a dramatic floor-to-ceiling glass window framing views across the common. Exposed beams, a Smart TV, integrated sound system, electric lights and window openers, and a wood burner create a warm and atmospheric space. There’s also a second living room with its own wood burner and direct access to the garden, plus a dining room and fully equipped kitchen for relaxed home cooking.
Upstairs, a peaceful mezzanine bedroom nestles under the eaves, and a second double bedroom with a stable door overlooks the lounge. A bathroom with a shower cubicle and underfloor heating completes the accommodation. Outside, guests enjoy a large private garden and woodland area, plus direct access to 9 acres of land on Bircher Common, perfect for peaceful walks, wildlife spotting, or star-gazing under clear skies.
