Cosy Nook in North Molton, Devon sleeps 3 people in 2 bedrooms. Cosy Nook in North Molton is a traditional Devonshire grade two listed cottage boasting a thatched roof and beamed ceilings. The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to three guests in the two cosy bedrooms. Peacefully located within the pretty village of North Molton on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, this is a great base for exploring all North Devon has to offer, including sandy beaches less than an hour’s drive away.
As you enter the property, head into the living room which is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating and a Smart TV with freeview (the oil powered wood burner isn’t available for guests to use). The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. After a busy day exploring the area, step into the back garden which has shared access with the neighbouring property and has a patio area and outdoor seating. This outdoor space is a real sun-trap and is a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee whilst planning your adventurous day ahead. As the evening draws to a close, drift off to sleep within one of the two well-presented bedrooms, the first has a king-size bed and the other has a single bed. The family shower room is fitted with a shower cubicle, toilet and sink.
Cosy Nook is situated within a peaceful rural location in the village of North Molton next to the river Mole and is a short distance from the A361 link road and only 3 miles from the market town of South Molton. The village has a great local pub and a village shop/post office which are a two minute walk from the cottage. Barnstaple is just 15 miles away and Tiverton 16 miles. Keen walkers should head to Exmoor National Park which is just a 5-minute drive away and the beautiful North Devon coastline is within a 30-minute drive. To the north you have the beautiful sandy beaches at Combe Martin, Croyde and Woolacombe and a collection of pretty fishing villages and towns such as Clovelly, Lynton, Lynmouth and Porlock. To the south you have the dramatic red cliffs of Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe with its pebbled beaches and Exmouth with its various watersports on offer.
Other local popular attractions include Eggesford Forest, RHS Rosemoor, Castle Drogo, various National Trust properties and theme parks such as the Milky Way, Crealey and the Big Sheep. Venture towards the Tarka Trail, a series of footpaths and cyclepaths, boasting a plethora of countryside and coastal views along the way. With lots of day out opportunities from your doorstep, make Cosy Nook the base for your next North Devon holiday.
