The property sleeps four guests in two bedrooms with a comfortable and relaxing open plan living area and well-equipped kitchen, it is a home from home. In the evening why not sit in the private garden and listen to the wildlife, enjoy the beautiful night skies and rewind after a busy day exploring, you may even see a deer! Bird watchers will love this area with some many different species to spot.
There are so many places to visit it is impossible to cover everything, there is something for everyone both young and old and lots of these are indoors. For little ones, visit Heartlands in Pool it has a great play area, a maize and garden as well as a shop and a café. For older ones there is Flambards Theme Park in Helston. Why not visit Paradise Park in Hayle full of birds and animals great for all ages or Newquay Zoo.
You wouldn’t come to Cornwall and not visit the incredible beaches, here you are three miles from Porthtowan , this has sand and pebbles and when the tide is out there are small rockpools to explore. Popular with families and surfers and life guarded during summer months. Portreath beach is again about 3 miles away it is mostly sand with a little shingle, great for exploring rock pools at low tide. Popular with families, it is also a favourite for surfers and bodyboarders. There is a small town next to the beach with cafes, toilets, and shops.
For those who like cycling the Bissoe to Portreath route takes you past a pub at the start and the beach at the other end, before you cycle back, you can hire bikes locally, there are lots of other cycle routes to follow. The owners welcome our four-legged friends! Beach 3¼ miles. The pub is ¾ miles from Buzzards Cottage near Redruth, with a restaurant being ¾ miles from Buzzards Cottage.
