Only 3 miles from the pretty and historic market town of Morpeth, with its great selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and riverside rowing boats. The nature conservation site of Duridge Bay is just 5 miles away. There is a pub & restaurant 2 miles from Abbey Cottage near Morpeth, and a shop is 1½ miles from Abbey Cottage. A beach is 5 miles.
