If you're after a cottage holiday with a rural setting, for you and your partner, may I suggest Dragonfly Cottage. You'll find Dragonfly Cottage in Earsham, near Bungay - on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Set on River Farm, Dragonfly Cottage sleeps 2 people (although a further 2 people can be accommodated on the sofa bed) - and you have a private hot tub.

Dragonfly Cottage at River Farm is a recent barn conversion, and has only been available for holidays from August 2020 - a perfect choice for August's Cottage of the Month. Dragonfly Cottage sleeps 2 people in one king-size bed. The living room has a TV and DVD player, and sofa-bed which can sleep another 2 people. You have a wood burning stove too - which makes for a lovely cosy night in after spending your days exploring the East Anglian countryside and coast.

To make your holiday even more memorable, Dragonfly Cottage has its own private hot tub (available from Autumn 2020). You really can't beat a hot tub for making your holiday just that extra bit special.

River Farm is set in 9 acres of grounds, which you are more than welcome to wander around, and you have access to the River Waveney. Oh, and there is plenty of parking at River Farm, too.

The chances are you'll want to get out and explore the area, and Dragonfly Cottage at River Farm is ideally placed to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk. Should you fancy a day by the coast, you're spoilt for choice. The North Norfolk Coast is about an hours' drive from Dragonfly Cottage. With Blakeney, and its seal watching trips; Sheringham and it's steam railway; or Cromer with its beaches and pier. You can always head east, with Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth being about a 30 minute drive. Southwold, home to Adnams Brewery, is also a 30 minute drive from River Farm.

If you're planning to holiday during the summer months, you may well want to try Beccles Lido. This large (and heated!) open air swimming pool is only 15 minutes from your holiday cottage.

Dragonfly Cottage at River Farm is on the fringes of the Norfolk Broads - with Wroxham to the north, and Oulton Broad to the east, both offering motor cruiser hire for an hour or two.

Norfolk's county town, Norwich, is half-an-hour from Dragonfly Cottage at River Farm, and has a plethora of shops, pubs and restaurants. As well as a multi-screen cinema in the Riverside area.

All in all, Dragonfly Cottage, as well as being a quality modern holiday cottage, is superbly placed to make the most of the area.
