A lovely detached cottage, occupying a stunning elevated location, with an array of wildlife, and uninterrupted, beautiful views of the Isle of Skye, in the picturesque village of Glenelg on the fabulous west coast of the Scottish Highlands. From its private hillside situation, this Highland cottage boasts breathtaking, uninterrupted views across the Sound of Sleat to the Isle of Skye, and views to the smaller islands of Rhum and Eigg. Very well-appointed throughout, this Glenelg cottage would be ideal for a family group or group of friends who will enjoy this area and all that it has to offer. There are three well-presented bedrooms in this Glenelg cottage, and a very comfortable sitting room with a dining area with welcoming multi fuel stove and fabulous views from the windows. Next door is the very well-equipped kitchen where you can enjoy cooking some tasty meals. The large, private and enclosed gardens to the front and rear are the perfect place for relaxing or dining alfresco, and just a short walk away is Glenelg Inn, a traditional inn with cosy character, lively music nights and excellent local cuisine, so there is no need to cook every night. The village has a very well-stocked local shop too. Of course, the community-owned ferry runs regularly in the summer months, sailing across the Sound of Sleat to Skye and is a most pleasant alternative to using the Skye Bridge, which is located just 25 miles away in the bigger village of Kyle of Lochalsh. There is so much for wildlife enthusiasts to enjoy in this beautiful part of the country with sea eagles, otters and seals seen regularly. This Glenelg cottage will delight visitors of all ages, who are sure enjoy a wonderful Highland holiday.

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double with en suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Open plan sitting room with dining area and multi fuel stove. Utility.

Oil central heating with multi fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, super fast Wi-Fi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove included. Bed linen and towels included. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Front and rear enclosed garden with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 10 minutes' walk. Note: Steps inside and outside of property, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Track leading towards property is uneven in places, take care when driving/walking along it.
