The Connemara Coastline is well worth exploring ad so are the nearby Kylemore Abbey and Gardens, the Connemara National Park and the Islands of Inishbofin and Clare. The area is well known for sporting and country activities - nearby Ballyconnelly Golf Club which is world renowned; The Twelve Bens Mountains provide ideal terrain for walking, hiking, climbing and other pursuits. Dogs Bay and Gurteen Bay Beaches are within driving distance and a day trip to Westport and Galway City is most enjoyable. Clifden 10 miles away and has many fine hotels as well as art galleries and entertainment. A week will not prove enough is in this property and the unspoilt environment of Connemara. Not to be missed is the scenic Sky Road Circular Drive and the charming villages of Roundstone, Ballyconnelly and Cleggan, from where the Island of Inishbofin can be visited.
