Boasting lovely views across open countryside from its first floor sitting room this spacious and very comfortable cottage enjoys a peaceful village setting and offers a relaxing base for walking and touring. Situated in a small courtyard adjacent to the owners' home, it shares their attractive lawned garden. Meandering lanes lead to the small market town of Callington (3½ miles), but dominating the area is Kit Hill whose summit affords spectacular vistas across Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. Coastal towns of Looe and Polperro are 20 miles, Launceston's steam railway 8 miles. Pub 3 miles, shop 100 yards.

The accommodation was fantastic and I would recommend Manor Barn to everyone. The owners were very helpful and always available when needed. Stoke Climsaland was the perfect base for visiting Cornwalls attractions - in one week we managed to do Lands End, Mowellham Quay, Geevor Tin Mine, Tintangel, Kit Hill, St Ives, Boscastle, The Bodmin & Wenford Railway, as well as part of the camel trail from Wadebridge to Padstow. This really was a fantastic holiday and we can't wait for the next one!
