An ideal base for family holidays and coastal walking, it lies within a few minutes' drive of the north coast and vast expanse of golden sands at Hayle Towans, with Carbis Bay and St Ives' galleries and restaurants about 8 miles away, as is St Michael's Mount. Godolphin House (N.T.) and Paradise Park are 3 miles, and Penzance (10 miles) offers day trips by boat or helicopter to the Isles of Scilly. Shop 1 mile, pub 2 miles.
