Villa Alessia is located just outside the centre of Calis, in a quiet area at 10-15 minutes walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. The local dolmus, or the normal taxibus, brings you to local destinations in no time. There are no discos nearby, but along the boulevard there are lots of cosy bars to enjoy a drink or a delicious meal. On the beach of Calis, which is part of the 'Turquoise coast', you can admire the pretty sun sets. The famous Blue Lagoon of Olu Deniz is at ca. 40 minutes, where you can go diving and parasailing. Fethiye is 10 minutes away, but you could also take the romantic water taxi, which takes longer! In Fethiye you will find a large yachting harbour and many opportunities for day trips and little cruises, like the 'Blue Voyage' or the '12 islands trip'. Archaeology enthusiasts will enjoy Hisaranou (30 minutes) and Telmessos or Kayakoy (20 minutes). Delta flying is possible from Mount Babadag, and canyoning in Saklikent. Nature lovers will admire the many colourful butterflies in Kelebek, the butterfly valley, or the protected bay of Patara, where the giant turtles come on land. Dalaman Airport is ca. 45 minutes drive away.
