La Forclaz is at 1,700 m on the very sunny slopes of the Evolène Region in the Haut Val d'Hérens. This is the authentic heart of the Valais Alps, an area where you really go back ôto the rootsö.
In the winter, you can enjoy splendid panoramas, great paths and challenging ski runs. A real health spa for the whole family: 100 km of ski runs, 35 km of cross-country ski runs, two natural skating rinks, ice water falls, skiing trips, heli-skiing, supervised snow walks, on so-called rackets, etc. In the ôgreenö season, you will find here a major network of walking paths in the mid- and high mountains, mountain huts, a mountaineering- and climbing school, 100 km of extended mountain bike paths, fishing, tennis, a ôVitaö track, village festivals, trade fairs, trips to the alpine meadows ôcombats de reinesö (folklore), concerts, etc.
Apartment No. 89 is above in the Veisivi complex, in the centre of the village and in the direct vicinity of all village facilities such as the grocer with regional products and the restaurant. Your apartment is at the foot of the ski runs of the (small) ski area La Forclaz-La Sage and 9.5 km from the Chemeuille area. The Arolla skiing area is 17 km and the cross-country ski runs are 3.5 km away. There is also a skating rink in Haudères. In the summer, several routes start here for taking walks and other journeys.
