The Monte Rosa residence consists of 5 buildings and is located on the outskirts of the village of Täsch near Zermatt. All of the apartments have a breathtaking view of the ôSmall Matterhornö.
Monte Rosa has a restaurant with a very good kitchen. The menu card offers you a choice of real Swiss and other international cuisine. In the evenings, you can enjoy a delicious local wine with your friends and family on the large terrace in front of the restaurant. If you wish, you can opt on the spot for a half pension or have breakfast and extra cleaning for a surcharge. In addition, this residence offers a lounge where you can watch television, a sun terrace, a covered swimming pool (14 x 16 m), sauna (extra charge), solarium (extra charge), table-tennis table, exercise room, meeting room (on request), telephone exchange (pre-paid telephone cards available from the reception), dryer and washing machine (extra charge).
All apartment buildings are connected with one another underground. For each apartment there is one free parking place at your disposal. If you would want park more than one car in this underground garage you can rent a parking place on the spot. The centre of Täsch is only 800 m from the residence. Here you can make your purchases at the local supermarket.
In the winters, the cross-country ski tracks (12 km) start right in front of the apartments. The station is just 150 m from the residence. From the station there are daily trains to the famous city of Zermatt. The train journey takes 15-20 minutes on average. There is also a bus to Zermatt that leaves from the front door of Monte Rosa.
In the summers, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air here and go on rugged walks in the sparkling mountain world of Zermatt. The Matterhorn is the highest point of Alps, a visit will therefore certainly be a unique experience. Sauntering around the sophisticated city of Zermatt with its friendly centre and famous watch shops is also certainly worth the visit.
These 3 apartments (1x 85 m2, 1x 85 m2 and 1x 90 m2) are on the 1st and 2nd floors of House E. You have a superb view of the mountains. The apartment is a combination of 3 apartments (Zerm-3929-03A for 4-6 persons, Zerm-3929-03B for 4-6 persons and Zerm-3929-03C for 4-6 persons). Ideal when you go on holiday with several families or a group of friends (max. 18 persons).
The facilities of the aparthotel may be closed in the periods from the middle of April until the middle of May and the middle of October to the middle of December due to these being the off seasons.
