Leitenseppenhof is a renovated farmhouse in a nice location in the Danube Valley. You have a great view onto the river from here. The farmhouse is the second oldest property in Vichtenstein. Vichtenstein is one of the prettiest holiday villages in the Sau Forest. The ôlocal mountainö in Vichtenstein is the 895 m high Haugstein that attracts many visitors in the summer and winter. The 800-year old village church ôSaint Jacobö is certainly also worth a visit.
This area is excellent for winter cross-country skiing. There is a lit ski lift in the village. This ski lift will take you to the Haugstein, is most suitable as a family ski resort. The area is excellent for taking a romantic winter ski excursion.
The cities of Passau (20 km) and barokstad Schaerding (18 km) are definitely worth visiting in the summer. You can also take several walks in the direct vicinity of the farmhouse and a trip on the Danube is certainly recommended.
