La Sage, at 1,700 m is situated on the sunny side of the Evolène Region. The Evolène Region is the preserved heart of the Valais Alps and a captivating return to originality.
The chalet Le Rectorat is in the centre of La Sage offering a magnificent view of the impressionable mountain range. The chalet is 1.5 km from the ski runs of the (small) ski area La Forclaz-La Sage and 8.5 km from the Chemeuille area. The Arolla skiing area is 16 km and the cross-country ski runs are 3 km away. There is also a skating rink in Haudères.
In the winter, you can enjoy splendid panoramas, great paths and challenging ski runs. A real health spa for the whole family: 100 km of ski runs, 35 km of cross-country ski runs, two natural skating rinks, ice water falls, skiing trips, heli-skiing, supervised snow walks, on so-called rackets, etc. In the ôgreenö season, you will find here a major network of walking paths in the mid- and high mountains, mountain huts, a mountaineering- and climbing school, 100 km of extended mountain bike paths, fishing, tennis, a ôVitaö track, village festivals, trade fairs, trips to the alpine meadows ôcombats de reinesö (folklore), concerts, etc.
