These 13 rural properties in the verdant Umbria region are spread across a large farm estate measuring 200 hectares, located just 10 km from Umbertide, in the Alta Valle del Tevere Umbra area. This zone is known for its beautiful, rolling landscape at approximately 700 metres above sea level. The farm originally belonged to the most important family in Perugia - the Baglioni family - in the seigniorial period.
The property boasts a wonderful panoramic position and is divided into spacious and homely apartments of various sizes, furnished in the typical Umbria style and equipped with all the amenities necessary for a pleasant stay. Some apartments, located within the Montoni farm house’s ancient and distinctive stone tower, feature interior and exterior stone walls. Outside there are wooden tables and garden furniture, allowing guests to make the most of the stunning views.
The estate offers guests a relaxing break, immersed in nature and with countless sporting activities. The holiday homes offer many services to guests including an adult-size pool with children’s splash pool, riding school, restaurant, bar, tennis court, 5-aside football, archery, children’s play area, fully-equipped adventure park, mountain bikes and bowls. The surrounding area is also well worth a visit, with places of interest including Umbertide town (10 km away) and Lake Trasimeno (Passignano sul Trasimeno is only 15 km away). The small towns of the Alta Valle del Tevere offer more opportunities for a pleasurable day trip and include Montone, a fortified and well-conserved village, or the larger Città di Castello, of particular interest due to its well-stocked art gallery. The famous village of Gubbio is just 30 km away. Perugia is 30 km away and there are many characteristic towns in nearby Tuscany waiting to be discovered (Cortona is 40 minutes away by car). The proximity of the motorway to Umbertide and Passignano sul Trasimeno mean Assisi, Spello, Todi and Spoleto are also within easy reach.
