The Gólya holiday park is right on the shore of Velence Lake and is in a central location between Budapest (41 km away) and Balaton Lake (55 km away). Golya is very much recommended for families with children due to the many recreational opportunities in the area. The park has a recently created beach, children’s pool, playground and large sunbathing area and terrace. You can go boating and bicycling and rent go-carts. In the peak season, various activities and excursions are also organised.
Would you like to relax a little and enjoy the fresh air, forgetting all about your usual worries and stress? Not a problem! There are a number of trails for hiking and bicycling. There are also interesting sights to see, such as Budapest with its rich cultural offerings and impressive buildings.
A manager is on location in the park, available 24 hours a day.
This holiday park was built in 2001, it consist of 27 villas, directly along the shores of the sunny Velence Lake. The park is nevertheless designed on a small scale, whereby there is still enough left for the children. Naturally, the villas are excellent for a wonderful water holiday. You can hire little boats and go onto the lake; surfing and swimming are possible. For the more calmer water sport lovers, then fishing is also possible. Even hiking, cycling, visiting towns (Budapest) are fine undertakings from your villa. A wonderful holiday for you and your family!
