In this valley surrounded by mountains, about 2km from the small town of Inzell, you will stay in these beautiful holiday-lodgings Gamskogel (about 44 m2) in the house Haus Schmelzerbach.
The surroundings are very interesting, since you are at the intersection of 3 touristic regions: Inzell-Ruhpolding-Reit im Winkl. These cities are very easily accessible by car and public transport, as well as the sites of Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg,
Berchtesgaden and the famous lake of Chiem. There is a bus-stop not far from the house.
In the winter you can ski here (30 km pistes) and cross-country skiing (110 km) in the small ski-area Region Chiemgau (700-1200m). Besides, Inzell has an open air ice rink, which is accessable for the public as well and known for its world championship skating, Anni Friesinger.
You will be able to dispose of the facilities of the guesthouse next door, Gasthof Schmelz: an indoor swimming-pool (9x4x1,30m), bubble baths, sauna, fitness-room, billiard and children's games (free).
