An authentic restored and fully furnished cave house, with all the modern facilities. Circa 160m2, divided over 2 floors, with among other things a spacious dining kitchen with BBQ facilities. On the 1st floor you will find a small balcony with a beautiful view over the valley. The patio (approx. 35m2) for the cave is enclosed, so that the children can play outside. You can make use of the closely situated swimming pool (11.00 û 20.00, euro 2,50 p.p.). It is one of the biggest and favourable divided caves in Galera (each cave differs qua size and division). Due to the surface, this cave is suitable for 6 adults and 2 children. The temperature in the caves stays approx. 18° C the whole year through, during the hot summers as well as the cold winters. Even the locals live in caves!
You will find the cave in the area Santissimo, 7 km south from Huéscar, where many other cave homes are already being renovated. Some (building) works can still take place in the area. In the surrounding are many excursions and hiking possibilities (among other GR-7 LAW-hiking route) possible. The town Galera is centrally situated, in this respect the nature parks of Sierra de Cazorla, Castril, Sierra de Baza and Valle de Dos Rios where archeological excavations are and naturally Granada (130km) with the famous Alhambra.
