The unspoiled and varied nature of the area has attracted a number of artists and craftsmen as well. Visit their galleries, candle factories and pottery workshops. Beach
The lovely, wide and sandy beach has the Blue Flag. On the beach you can see 2 German concrete bunkers from World War 2. The beach of Tranum is a peaceful beach, which is also frequently visited by the locals. At all times of the year, the beach invites activities and walks. Don't miss the unique sunset over the North Sea from the beach.
