The fishing opportunities are good along the shore, in the Put & Take fishponds of the area as well as on the sea, in a rented boat or onboard the ship 'Castor', which departs from the harbour in Bogense. From here you can also go on a day trip to the islands Endelave, Tunų and Samsų.
As on most beaches in northern Funen, the beach by Bro Strand has coarse sand and stones by the waters edge. The beach is very suitable for children, as the water is shallow and calm.
