Bonnehûs is a detached, intimate holiday house in the Frisian town of Ee. The house has been furnished simply and is provided with the basics in terms of comfort. It is located between Dokkum and the southern side of the national park of Lauwersmeer. This is a beautiful nature area good for cycling, hiking, sailing and swimming. The old town centre of Ee, with its historical church as the central point, has been built upon a mound which has remained entirely intact.
There are also mooring places for boat cruises in Ee. A visit to the business town of Dokkum, well known from the elfstedentocht (the 11-city skating marathon in Friesland) is certainly recommended. The town centre offers you a great deal in terms of all kinds of nice restaurants and shops.
