The famous Glyndebourne Festival takes place from May to August and the ancient town of Lewes celebrates Bonfire Night with a magnificent procession and firework display. Hastings, with its old fishermen's huts and fresh fish, is well worth a visit, as is the cobbled town of Rye and the beautiful golden sand and dunes of Camber which await exploration. Pub 1 mile.
