Portreath: seaside village with fine sand/surf beach (dog-free) and old harbour, between cliffs, 3 miles from Camborne (light industrial town, good mining museum, leisure centre). Golf, riding, shire horse/carriage museum, country park and farm park/museum, all nearby. St Ives, Truro, and Falmouth, all about 12 miles; Penzance, 15. in Portreath, a neat, modest little first floor apartment perched high on the cliffs with fantastic views over Portreath beach, the cliffs and open sea. The coastal footpath passes in front and it is about 350 yards down to the beach/village. At the back, a few grass steps lead up to a small terrace with table/chairs/barbecue and great views; just right for sundowners or morning coffee. From the parking area, twenty steps lead up to the front door. Inside is comfortable and immaculate; hall leading to an open plan living/dining room/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, larder fridge) with laminate flooring, rattan armchairs and views over the village and beach; two bedrooms a double (great views) and a twin (2’6 beds); smart shower-room (suite). No smoking. Good for a beach or walking holiday, but best for max two adults/two children.
