Beer: pretty fishing village with shops, restaurants and galleries lining the road to the sheltered natural cove harbour. Steep white chalk cliffs on either side hide underground caves (tours available) famous for Beer stone which was quarried here for centuries and used in England’s oldest cathedrals, abbeys and palaces. Back in the hall, stairs up to three stylish bedrooms a double (5’ bed) looking over the courtyard, a twin (zip-linkable to 6’ double) and a single with truckle pull-out bed; compact bathroom (suite plus bath-shower).
