... about a mile from Southleigh, a large, detached, south-facing farmhouse with attached annexe set high on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley, with almost 180 degree views of amazing rolling countryside, and surrounded by approximately 200 acres of fields and woods. In the garden (furniture, barbecue, wooden play centre with swing, slide and climbing frame, strutting peacocks/roaming chickens and ducks fresh eggs to collect), a summer house/games room (half-size pool table, table tennis, table football) and, in the large paved central courtyard between the farmhouse and its annexe, a hot tub. You are welcome to wander the fields, enjoy the bluebell woods (deer and badger watching), the stream, duck pond, and the gorgeous views and, if this isn’t enough, there’s a range of activities on offer here (extra). These include clay pigeon shooting, quad biking (adults/children), Aga Cats (amphibious vehicles), archery and deer stalking. Horse riding/pony-trekking and deep sea fishing locally can also be arranged.

Inside the farmhouse, there is plenty of room to relax. Entrance hall; downstairs loo; two living rooms - one with sofas, chairs, electric ‘living flame’ fire and door to the central courtyard - the other enormous with plenty of comfy seating, electric flame’ fire and door to a wonderfully light and sunny conservatory (furniture overlooking the fabulous view, and French windows to the patio); dining room; large fitted kitchen/breakfast room (dishwasher, combi-microwave, gas range cooker with 5 burners/2 ovens/separate grill); utility room (washing machine, tumble drier, another combi-microwave, fridge-freezer, sink, CD player) and door to the central courtyard.

Two staircases up to five bedrooms two double (5’ beds, widescreen TV/video/DVD); a twin room with view over courtyard, sloping ceiling and TV/DVD/video; another twin with TV and views of the valley; and a third small twin overlooking the courtyard with part sloping ceiling and TV/video; three bathrooms (suites - one with hand-shower and sloping ceiling; one with hand-shower, separate shower and sloping ceiling; and one with corner bath and bath-shower).

The single-storey annexe adjoins the farmhouse and overlooks the central courtyard. Open-plan living (widescreen TV/video/ DVD, music centre)/dining/kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine) with large sliding French windows to the courtyard and hot tub; a double bedroom (5’ bed) and bathroom (suite with corner bath plus hand-shower and separate shower). Nearby are outbuildings/owners’ office with phone/fax (use by arrangement).
