Well worth a visit are the National Trust cottages at Bossington, the pretty packhorse bridge at Allerford or Selworthy - once described as the most attractive village in England. For the children, a visit to Lynch Farm Park, with its falcons, is sure to entertain. The seaside resort of Minehead, where sailing trips to Lundy Island are available, is nearby. West Somerset Steam Railway, Lorna Doone Valley and Dunster Castle and village are all within easy reach. Shops 200 yards, pub 100 yards.
