Charlie's Cottage is a lovely little stone cottage set in the heart of Wirksworth's award winning conservation area. This comfortable cottage is just a stroll away from the town centre and the market place.
Wirksworth is an interesting historic market town and hosts Well Dressings in May and an Art and Architecture trail in September.
Wirksworth makes an excellent base for an enjoyable walking or sightseeing holiday. Local attractions include: the Tissington and High Peak Trails, Carsington Water, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Kedleston Hall. There are many other local attractions such as the National Tramway Museum and the Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath. Also nearby are the larger market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne and the spa town of Buxton.
