It makes a cosy retreat and is nicely furnished, whilst being an ideal central base for touring in all directions. To the south Limerick, Bunratty Folk Park and St Johns Castle are all close by, or travel north to the Burren National Park, the Cliffs of Moher and the Alliwee Caves.

Westwards, take the ferry crossing into Kerry or visit Galway city, which is a short drive to the east. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.
